      My name is Christopher, and I am an ESL tutor with over nine years of experience teaching conversation to students of English. I have taught conversational English to company employees at companies like Samsung and LG, high school students at Korean public schools, and for the last four years I have worked at a national engineering university just outside of Daegu, Korea's third most populous metropolitan area.

      Semantics is the study of the meaning of words. Meaning defines grammar, usage, and idiomatic expression.       In this book I attempt to illuminate the meaning of these articles for intermediate and advanced level students of ESL. The language used in the study guide is written in elementary English to ensure that beginners and intermediates easily understand its content. Some a, an, the examples are provided to encourage the reader to think about the definitions in a real context.
